Sioux County is in far Northwest Iowa. It is named for the Sioux Tribe of Native Americans.
The seat is Orange City, while the largest city is Sioux Center. Main Highways include US-18, US-75 and IA-10, IA-12 and IA-60.
It borders Lyon, O'Brien and Plymouth Counties in Iowa and Lincoln and Union Counties in South Dakota.
